What is Find-A-Trader?

Its a facility for you to find a trader in your area. We wanted to offer our users somewhere they could find traders that could be trusted and that may have been recommended by other users. We wanted to find a set of traders within a host of trades that were reliable and good value for money for our users. The idea is that you tell each other who is good and who is bad.

How did you find the original list of traders?

We contacted a list of selected traders found on various other websites that we felt were trusted. We have checked their portfolio of work and even contacted some customers for feedback

I am not pleased with the work carried out by a trader on this site, what do I do, and what action will be taken?

First of all you have to registered to leave feedback on the traders. This way we can manage the feedback better. Once registered, you can go into your account and leave feedback. If its bad feedback we will monitor it and decide whether to take further action. If necessary we will remove the trader.

Can anyone advertise their business with you?

We want to offer our users a range of property related services we feel they may need, ranging from building services to locksmiths, and plasterers to inventory specialists. If you are a good honest trader operating a property related trade in Nottinghamshire then we would like to hear from you. The numbers of traders we use will be limited and negative feedback from customers may mean traders will be removed.

How do I go about getting my business on Letsrentnottingham.com?

You will have to contact us via the Trader Enquiry section. You will be asked to complete an application form and provide details of your business such as the company name, company details, trade(s), location, how long you have been trading for, memberships to trade bodies and other area relating to your business. We will then contact you to discuss the possibility of advertising your business with us

How do you vet the traders on this site?

When a trader applies to market their business on letsrentnottingham.com, we ask them to complete the Trader Enquiry form. They must provide details of their business such as the company name, company details, trade(s), location, how long they have been trading for, memberships to trade bodies and other area relating to their business. Please be aware that we cannot check the validity of the details provided in all cases. Please read our Find-A-Trader Terms of Use before using the service.

Will bad traders get removed?

If traders receive bad feedback or we deem, after speaking to the client and trader, that the trader has done a bad job, we will remove the trader from this site. We only want good honest traders on this site, and this can be achieved through good honest feedback from our users.

Is it really Free to advertise on letsrentnottingham.com?

Yes! At the moment we do not charge traders to advertise here, but space is limited as we dont want to flood our users with options. Traders maybe asked for references that we will follow up in order to get an idea of the quality of service you provide.

What happens if i get bad feedback?

Each trader will be looked at as an individual case, so 1 bad feedback does not necessarily mean we will remove the trader from the site. It some cases the customer and trader will be contacted before a decision is made. Letsrentnottingham.com is about providing quality services to tenants, landlords and letting agents, so if you if a trader frequently gets bad feedback they will be removed.

Do you advertise letsrentnottingham.com in local press?

YES.
We actively market the site and services we offer in local papers (i.e. Evening Post), magazines, student papers and through building relationships with local letting agents. Our aim is to make our services known to everyone in Nottinghamshire!
